By Air

Students traveling by air should plan to arrive at:

  • Albany International Airport (ALB) - approximately 15 minutes from RCA

Alternate Airports

The following airports may offer more economical flight options. (may offer lower fares but require additional travel time):

  • John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
  • LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
  • Bradley International Airport (BDL)
  • Logan International Airport (BOS)

These airports are generally 2 to 3+ hours from campus.

While they may provide lower-cost travel options, families are fully responsible for arranging transportation to campus if selecting one of these airports.

Families choosing airports outside of Albany are responsible for arranging transportation to campus. RCA does not provide transportation from these locations. Redemption Christian Academy does not provide, coordinate, or arrange transportation from these locations.

Ground Transportation

  • Taxi and rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are available from Albany International Airport
  • Rental cars are available at all major airports

If arriving through Albany, transportation to campus is quick and easily accessible.

By Bus

The Greyhound Bus Terminal Albany is located approximately 15 minutes from campus. Please contact Greyhound directly for routes and schedules.

By Train

The Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak Station is located approximately 15 minutes from campus. Please contact Amtrak for ticketing and schedule information.
