When COVID first hit, students across the country halted much of their learning as a result of the challenge of being on lockdown. As student athletes, RCA students were hoping for the experience of an exciting basketball season. Their focus was shifted at this time of uncertainty to passionately explore the world of musical instruments. They began using YouTube tutorials and remote instruction on a journey to cultivate their new found love for music which led them to having their own band. Students utilize their talents playing with the Pathfinder Youth choir and the Redemption Church of Christ adult choir. RCA’s music department continues to look for ways to expand and develop student talent.
