Cultural Learning Immersion Program (CLIP)
Support for Students with Limited English Proficiency (Low TOEFL Scores)
Since 1994, Redemption Christian Academy has supported international students with
limited English proficiency (LEP) through its
Cultural Learning Immersion Program (CLIP) - an intentional, immersion-based model designed to develop both academic and conversational English fluency.
Through structured daily immersion, targeted academic support, and full participation in campus life, students rapidly build the language skills necessary to succeed in the classroom and within our residential community. This integrated approach ensures measurable progress, with most students achieving functional, grade-level English proficiency within their first year.
CLIP reflects RCA's commitment to meeting students where they are and guiding them - through discipline, consistency, and community - toward confidence, independence, and long-term academic success.
International students at RCA benefit from:
- A structured, family-centered boarding environment where responsibility and belonging are part of daily life
- Full cultural immersion that supports rapid English-language development
- Rigorous academic pathways, including Advanced Placement and college-level coursework for qualified students
- Personalized academic and personal support within a close, relationship-driven community
Teachers continuously monitor language acquisition and academic progress, providing targeted ESL support as needed. Historically, students reach functional English proficiency within a short period and transition into grade-level instruction by the end of the academic year.
I-20 Forms & Student Visas

After receiving the Form I-20, students are required to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee and present proof of payment when applying for the F-1 visa and upon entry to the United States.
