Curriculum (Grades 9-12)
"To have the right kind of success, one must have the right kind of education."
- Booker T. Washington

At Redemption Christian Academy, education is designed to prepare students for life-developing the mind, shaping character, and equipping each student to lead with purpose.
An Innovative Model for High School Learning
Redemption Christian Academy's Grades 9-12 curriculum is intentionally designed for students who are ready to think deeply, work purposefully, and grow beyond perceived limitations. Grounded in
Mind + Character + Purpose, this model prepares students not only for graduation, but for college, career pathways, and leadership in the real world.
RCA may be small by design, but it is powerful in outcome. For decades, our students have competed with - and often surpassed - peers from much larger, better-funded schools, graduating prepared for higher education and life beyond the classroom.
The Applied Pathways Learning Model
Grades 9-12 at RCA follow what we call the Applied Pathways Learning Model - an innovative framework that blends multiple learning environments to meet students at their individual level while intentionally challenging them to grow.
Rather than limiting learning to a single classroom format, students engage in:
- One-on-one instruction with teachers and tutors
- Small-group seminars and guided discussion
- Traditional classroom learning
- Project-based and experiential coursework
- Technology-based and online instruction
- Career exploration and pathway development
- Community service and applied learning
This model allows students to apply knowledge, develop independence, and build confidence through meaningful, real-world experiences.
"We don't teach students to memorize life - we teach them to engage it, apply it, and lead within it."
