For years, many have speculated, wondered, and narrated what we do at RCA. Everything about RCA and our basketball program is summed up in our approach: a program that prioritizes character and development over everything else.
Our high school and prep teams consistently perform at a high level, with both teams making it to the semifinals in league play. This past year, our AAA team rose to be ranked #28 in the nation among prep schools. Our prep coach, Malani Massey, won co-coach of the year alongside Tom Espinosa of Putnam Science . I am excited about my next year's High School team, which will include my nephew, Imahri Wooten, who is a highly ranked 4-star player.
Our player development speaks for itself. We enjoy the challenge of taking kids who want to play, with no recruiting and no tryouts. This is a true reflection of our program-taking kids from all backgrounds and walks of life. It's not a business for us; preparation for life is our motto. It's no wonder that our program has become a breeding ground for under-the-radar talent.
At RCA, we don't defend or brag about what we do. We quietly get the job done for a cause bigger than ourselves. We aim to change lives. A program alone doesn't make or break a player; it's the discipline and structure that truly shape them. RCA has been one of the few schools with multiple players drafted into the NBA, and there are more to come-very soon!
